Apart from the amazing views and close to nature, the resort is old and tiring, no consistent standards across all rooms.

Brilliant place to stay, no internet service! The valley and mountain view rooms are good, the rest are average. There is a restaurant with a reasonably priced menus and the bar is licensed. Service is hit and miss as the place is staffed by backpackers on 3 month working visas so you never know what the service will be like month to month. Lovely local fresh water streams to swim in, very Motorcycle friendly. Overall, recommended.

Quite, clean and warm, a well placed stop on the way up the Oxley. Motorcycle friendly.

Rooms still use halogen lightbulbs, and require some maintance on the flynet doors, walls, furnishings, toilet, wardrobe, carpet. Rooms have typical old house unpleasant smell.

The restaurant was below standard. Service was substandard and foods were horrific. Burnt charcoal flavoured bacon, super well done beef patty, burnt chicken schnitzel and overcooked chicken breast, greasy flattened milk buns.

When riding motorbike on Oxley twisty road this was my lunch stopover. Coffee and food were good, but nothing beats having it near river. Good rest for body and soul.
